Our customer is a key thermal power plant in Saudi Arabia, responsible for stable regional power supply. During daily operation, the plant’s water treatment system encountered prominent pain points: the original filter cartridges showed short service life, requiring frequent shutdowns and replacements, which led to high maintenance costs and heavy workload for the on-site team. In addition, unstable condensate quality caused by insufficient filtration affected the safe operation of boilers and steam turbines. To ensure long-term stable and efficient power generation, the customer urgently needed high-performance filter cartridges to upgrade and optimize the whole water treatment system.
We provided a complete customized filtration solution including high flow filter cartridges and condensate polishing filter cartridges for the plant’s water treatment and condensate polishing system. The solution was designed according to the actual working conditions and high-flow water treatment demand of the Saudi power plant.
High flow filter cartridges are equipped with large effective filtration area and high dirt-holding capacity, perfectly suitable for large-flow boiler makeup water treatment. With stable pressure drop and long service life, these high flow filter cartridges effectively reduce the frequency of filter replacement and lower maintenance intensity. The optimized structure of high flow filter cartridges ensures continuous and stable operation under heavy load, bringing obvious efficiency improvement to the water treatment system.
Condensate polishing filter cartridges adopt high-precision filtration design to efficiently remove fine particles, iron oxide and other impurities in condensate. Featuring no fiber shedding, excellent high temperature and pressure resistance, they ensure high-purity condensate water and provide reliable protection for boilers, steam turbines and other key equipment. Together with high flow filter cartridges, they form a complete and reliable filtration system for the power plant.
